FIG. 06 — YOURLABWORK

The client

YourLabWork is an online reseller of lab panels, ranging from metabolism to longevity biomarkers — direct-to-consumer health data for people who want numbers about their own bodies.

The challenge

They had run a joint-venture webinar with an affiliate partner, and it had failed. The instinct after a failed launch is to abandon the channel. Instead, they asked us to help try again — which meant the real assignment was making sure the second attempt couldn’t fail the same way.

The approach

We assembled a new campaign strategy from the ground up:

  • New creative — rebuilt messaging and assets for the webinar and its promotion.
  • A pre-testing period — deliberately scheduled ahead of the go-live date, so the riskiest assumptions were tested on live traffic before the launch depended on them. De-risking the date was the strategy.

What moved

The webinar was an overwhelming success. The campaign generated sales immediately and continued selling through the 72 hours after the event. In total: a 6,797% increase in sales versus their previous webinar — the same channel that had just failed, run again with testing in front of it.

What this case shows

Channels rarely fail; untested assumptions do. A pre-testing window before a launch date is the cheapest insurance a campaign can buy.
